This seems like nothing more than anti-Catholic claptrap.
The actual headline is “Roman Catholic Melinda Gates in an interview on TODAY Show pushing hard for a global COVID-19 vaccine was wearing a bright and shiny upside-down cross around her neck.”
First, it’s NOT an upside down cross. It’s just a design.
Second, the idea that there were no first century uses of crosses flies in the face that the cross was used in the second century for certain. Where did they get the idea to use it if not from earlier Christians? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_cross
Third, this statement is erroneous: “The cross as iconic symbolism would not appear until biblical Christianity was hijacked by the Romans around 325 AD.” The Romans never highjacked Christianity and the cross was already in use BEFORE THE FOURTH CENTURY EVEN BEGAN.
I know mentally unstable people - and anti-Catholics always are mentally unstable - love this stuff but it really is ridiculous claptrap.
The early Christians used the symbol of the fish, not the cross. Wearing a cross around ones neck is like a black woman wearing a noose around her neck. It presents a way of death that is wrong and of torture.
That is just my opinion of course
Not a Gates fan but yeah the pic was tinted red from the original and it is not an upside down cross.
This looks like an upside down cross. What makes you think it is not? Especially given that Bill Gates is a professed witch? ...and Microsoft has mainstreamed Satan Worship by promoting Marina Abramovic
Believe what you want.
How do plan on celebrating this May 14th with your pagan friends?
