• Blue states that are too far gone to be rehabilitated: CA, NY, WA, OR, CT, RI

• Purple states that could be turned back to Red with influx of Blue-States-that-are-too-far-gone exodus: CO, NC, NV, NM, maybe even MN at the electoral level

You may as well add NJ to the list of states that are too far gone. I am originally from there, having left in 1988 and severed nearly all ties.
