It's slowing down now considerably at 10:30 pm EST at 60
Ceciltucky here.
All the information on their site looks up-to-date. Last week they started updating it three times a day. Follow your own link and see for yourself, instead of relying on the work some newsroom clerk plagiarized from the states work.
I remember MOM well. And Ehrlich. And Parris the First.
Ah. I lived in MoCo from ‘84 to ‘95. My aunt and uncle lived in Ballmer (Catonsville, specifically) for almost fifty years. Back when you could walk from your door to your car without risking catching a bullet in the temple. Generally pleasant memories from those days. Taxes sucked, but I made it through the William ‘Scrape Your Dollar’ Schaefer tenure otherwise unscathed. Married my first wife when Glendening got elected, moved to NoVA, then ditched her for an Alabama girl and never looked back. I go home at Christmas, but that’s it. I have no illusions of moving back to MD. VA has turned into a freak show now, as I assume you already know. I’ve got a buddy I’ve known for over forty years who had enough and sold his home of thirty years in NoVA and moved to WV. I’m medically retired and I’m thinking about finding a couple of acres with a fishing stream in WV, and building a cabin there. It beats sitting here and mildewing around the seams. LOL
Parris: Ignoring the 1998-1999 drought then imposing a police state over it, call the police on your neighbors
Ehrlich: Seemed to be on the MOM campaign staff for two elections that he ran faked campaigns for, makes Hogan look good/.
MOM Martin O Mally : Not even worth more than this.
Yeah, I had a couple memorable nights in a house up around the Concord Point Lighthouse back in the day. I also remember coming back from Princeton one evening after helping my soon-to-be ex-wife move her belongings to New Joisey on July 4th and blowing out a knee climbing stairs, and pulling into the first truck stop convenience store in Cecil County I could find to buy a jug of wine so I had a painkiller when I got home. The clerk eyeballed the clock on the wall and was able to ring it up, and I swear it was 11:59:59 PM when I handed the cash over. I saw seeing some buxom brunette at the time and tried to explain to her that it was cathartic to me in getting my wife out of my life by moving her three states away, but she thought I was just looking for a parting slice and threw me to the curb. Oh, well.
Okay, maybe I misinterpreted the grayed out dots at the end. They are “preliminary numbers”.
I was thinking those were projections instead of the most current data.
But now I’m confused between the difference in the charts between GA dept of health and the TV station. One difference is the TV station is through May 13 and the GA DoH graph is through May 16. So the big spike on May 1 has rolled off of the GA DoH Graph.
Must’ve been the travel America one right off 95? Or the flying J?
And Kristi Noem of South Dakota!
Many on FR are disappointed, since they want a complete lockdown along with the Democrats.
Oh man. Straight wonderful she is.
I think it was the Flying J. I just remember I was clock-watching all the way from Philly, and it was the first one I saw from 95 after I crossed the state line, so I pulled the moving truck into it. I was limping so badly I could hardly put pressure on my left leg. I was dirty, sweaty, practically dragging my leg behind me, I was a mess. I’m in the same boat now for different reasons and have to lean on a cane most of the time, but it felt like I had torn something like connective tissue in my knee. I got back to Arlington at something like 2 AM and was never so happy to see my bed in my life. *chuckle* I got a glass, propped my leg up on the coffee table, plopped that big jug of wine next to it, and proceeded to chug glass after glass until I was numb from head to toe. It was worth it in the end. I finally got that shrieking broom pilot out of my life. LOL!
You have described some of the aholes governors PERFECTLY!
dripping in self-righteousness and condescension...
I'm copying that for my future letters, notes and such. THANK YOU.
I WILL comment that I read it first HERE.
Palm Beach, Broward and Dade counties have been the highest numbers of cases in FL...stands to reason as they are the most populated. The rest of the state has varied from a few other hotter areas and the rest virtually nothing. DeSantis is doing a good job and were entering Phase II next week. My only complaint is we should have never shut down like we did, but I understand why...now that were smarter with the data and what COVID really is (and is not) hopefully any rebound spikes will be managed much more individually rather than across the board.
Damn fine idea.
They are worse
Since we have so many here who are clamoring to live in a place where the government exercises absolute control over the people, we need to oblige them.
Perhaps we can have some type of exchange- one citizen who wants to leave there for one who wants to leave here.
I would gladly pay a tax for this purpose.
Then when another virus breaks out, these leftists will feel safe because the government will come and weld them into their homes.
