If I was 40-years younger I’d consider buying lots of airline stocks like my aunt & uncle did during the 1930’s... By the time they retired in the 1950’s they were zillionaires and lived their lives off of their dividends until they died in the 1980’s when they were in their 90’s...

Lync became Skype for Business became extinct.
It’s all Teams now. I use it daily (for work). ... and that reminded me of a question I needed answered, and the answer is “yes.” (FedRAMP).
Bill is off trying to run the world now; he’s left Nutella (sp! on purpose) making the bux for MSFT.

[Maybe Im just being an iconoclast here, but Im involved in about a half-dozen weekly and bi-weekly web meetings and I find them excruciating. I am amazed at how much distraction and unprofessional crap is commonplace in these things.]
What’s your assessment of Zoom vs its competitors, assuming you’ve used the others, or some of its predecessors? Is it a cut above, or just another overhyped app, thanks to media-savvy PR people?

[I’ve used zoom for some Church related meetings. I don’t pay anything to use it.
How can they make money? Sounds like a good short ]
Stock valuation aside, it’s entirely possible that shareholders are footing the bill for a unit of China’s version of the NSA:

[However, Zooms product development team is based largely in China, and it operates research and development centers in that country, according to the companys most recent annual report. ]

From my perspective Zoom is a notch above its competitors. But Im always involved as a participant, not an organizer. Folks tell me that they like the functionality of Microsoft Teams when they organize and run a meeting.
