Last year Joe Biden bragged about how he coerced Ukraine into firing its top prosecutor Victor Shokin by threatening that the Obama administration would pull $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees from them.
While this type of interference in a foreign government by the then-Vice President of the United States is highly inappropriate in itself, what makes it even worse is that the prosecutor he got fired was probing a firm for which his son Hunter Biden worked.

Today an audiotape has been released by a Ukrainian politician which details conversations between corrupt and discredited former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and U.S. presidential candidate Joe Biden. John Kerry is also on the audio tape. The men discuss the firing of then Prosecutor Shokin for corrupt reasons, in order to prevent an investigation into Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, and other criminal actions.
People’s deputy Andrei Derkach presented a real “cassette scandal.”
Biden puts pressure on Poroshenko to fire Shokin. Poroshenko said that he blocked the resignation of Yatsenyuk on February 16, 2016 at the personal direction of Biden. On both points, according to Derkach, there is an obvious corpus delicti under the article “treason” (in fact, Poroshenko complied with the instructions of the leadership of a foreign state).

Poroshenko asks Biden to influence Self-Help regarding the position of the faction in voting for the prime minister. Poroshenko complains about Abromavicius. Biden at the end of 2016 gives Poroshenko advice to nationalize Privatbank as soon as possible, until Trump, who won the election, came to power.

On the commission of a criminal offense
(under article 214 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine)
I have read and understood Article 63 of the Constitution of Ukraine and the liability provided for in Article 383 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Slanderous denunciation of an offense”.

During the period 2014-2016, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine was conducting a preliminary investigation into a series of serious crimes committed by the former Minister of Ecology of Ukraine Mykola Zlotchevsky and by the managers of the company “Burisma Holding Limited “(Cyprus), the board of directors of which included, among others, Hunter Biden, son of Joseph Biden, then vice-president of the United States of America.
The investigation into the above-mentioned crimes was carried out in strict accordance with Criminal Law and was under my personal control as the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
Owing to my firm position on the above-mentioned cases regarding their prompt and objective investigation, which should have resulted in the arrest and the indictment of the guilty parties, Joseph Biden developed a firmly hostile attitude towards me which led him to express in private conversations with senior Ukrainian officials, as well as in his public speeches, a categorical request for my immediate dismissal from the post of Attorney General of Ukraine in exchange for the sum of US $ 1 billion in as a financial guarantee from the United States for the benefit of Ukraine.
The facts I have described above are confirmed, among other things, by the official interview of Joseph Biden published in the media, where he declares that Ukraine will not receive money if I remain in my post as Attorney General.
Throughout the last months of 2015 and the first months of 2016 Joseph Biden, taking advantage of his position, came several times on official visits to Ukraine in order to negotiate with the leaders of the country my eviction and, consequently, the closing of the objective investigation into the offenses committed by persons associated with the company “Burisma Holding Limited” (Cyprus), including the son of the aforementioned US official.
Due to continued pressure from the Vice President of the United States Joseph Biden to oust me from the job by blackmailing the allocation of financial assistance, I, as the man who places the State interests above my personal interests, I agreed to abandon the post of Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
After my resignation caused by illegal pressure, no active investigation into the offenses concerning the company “Burisma Holding Limited” (Cyprus) was carried out and, therefore, the persons implicated in these offenses were not identified, nor arrested or charged.
According to the conclusions of the International Law Association of 18.04.2017, made by the doctor of law, Professor O.O. Merezhko, at the time vice-president of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, the request of the Vice-President of the United States Joseph Biden concerning my ousting from the post of the Attorney General of Ukraine as a condition for the granting of financial (economic) assistance is qualified as pressure, which represents interference in the internal affairs of Ukraine on the part of a foreign power in violation of one of the principles of international law.
Moreover, the facts of pressure on me as Prosecutor General of Ukraine from Joseph Biden in the circumstances described above are confirmed by an independent journalistic investigation under the name “UkraineGate” conducted and published by the French online media “Les-Crises.fr”.
Deflect, accuse someone else of what your doing, investigate them! In the meantime, they continue on unabated and COLLECTING the kickbacks! They holler look what Trump did, look! They keep hollering which in effect keeps the spotlight off of them! Diabolical!

This is more than a “Smoking Gun.” This is Joe Biden on tape, Strong Arming, a foreign leader, Poroshenko to fire Shokin, in order to protect his crackhead son, Hunter Biden. And Biden did this while he was Vice President. Here it is, AG Barr, irrefutable proof that, Joe Biden, the presumptive Democrat nominee for, President of The United States, is a Criminal. If this doesn’t cook Biden’s goose and get him indicted, nothing will. If the Communist Democrats had a tape of our President doing this, they would run him out of office, with the help of Mitt Romney, Other RINOS, and the Media. Then, they would indict him! But, I bet you will not hear anything of this tape on the evening news this evening.

Barr can’t come out and say there will be nothing done to barry and biden... this cannot be the end result of their treasonous acts ... they tried to remove a sitting President and the justice needs to come to the past President and vice President. Barr can’t use the excuse they won’t charge a past Pres... man, they did it to a SITTING PRESIDENT... and I want justice... biden is full of baggage... this cannot stand... barry and his smart talk against the people and against the man he was spying on as this man was being sworn in as President..

Evidence means nothing if Barr refuses to prosecute.
They don't deny that they wanted this prosecutor fired. What they claim is that this prosecutor is lying when he subsequently claimed to have been investigating Biden's son and Burisma. They say he was actually corrupt, was profiting from such deals himself, and only raised the Burisma/Biden connection after the fact, when he thought it might help him politically.
Now, if Biden or anyone actually states on that tape that they want to get rid of this prosecutor because he was investigating Burisma/Biden, then that's different. But not speaking Russian....
Anyway, if this story is picked up by some more reputable news outlets who report that's what was said, then I'd be more willing to put more stock in it.

No, he won’t come out and say it, he just won’t do anything.
They are speaking Ukrainian, not Russian, but the issue is the same. I listened to the phone calls and there is nothing in this that would confirm that Poroshenko was pressured by Biden to fire Shokin because he was investigating Burisma. To the contrary, it sounds like Poroshenko went to Shokin and was told he had not found any evidence of corruption of some loan deal so Poroshenko asked and received his resignation.
Shokin has stated that he had refused to prosecute Dmytri Firkash because he did not have any evidence of corruption and that may have been what became the pretext to fire Shokin. Biden maintains that Shokin was fired for refusing to investigate Burisma but this is not clear from the discussion. Of course, the new prosecutor, Lutsenko, quickly closed all investigations of Burisma so this would conflict with Biden’s explanation that Burisma needed to be prosecuted.
There is nothing here that explicitly shows that Biden or Poroshenko were aware of Shokin’s investigation into Hunter Biden or Burisma. Bottom line, no smoking gun.

Sure. If Barr pretty much said Hussein and Obama won’t ever be prosecuted, then anything can be disclosed and it won’t matter. They skate.
TRUMP: The former ambassador from the United States, the woman was bad news and the people she was dealing with in the Ukraine were bad news so I just want to let you know that. The other thing, there's a lot of talk about Biden's son, that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do with the Attorney General would be great. Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution so if you can look into it... It sounds horrible to me.

Since we have the absolute majority in our Parliament the next prosecutor general will be 100% my person, my candidate, who will be approved by the parliament and will start as a new prosecutor in September.
