The college my oldest grandson is heading to already has their calendar up for the coming school year. They have every intention of opening. One thing he doesn’t need is more time at home. He needs to be among his peers.
If my son was planning to enter one of the colleges in the California State University System, I would tell him to take the gap year and work full time. All 24 colleges are going to distance learning.
At this point we really don’t know what will happen in the fall. Is the NCAA going to cancelled all fall sports? If colleges go to remote learning, what happens to all the income earning opportunites for students for campus activites?
