Ten reasons? I’ve got 50:
Alabama
Wyoming.
I have only one reason...
Over a virus, a State has no authority to suspend the Constitution, pick economic winners and losers, or create arbitrary ‘lists’ of what we can and can’t do.
These so-called ‘emergency powers’ need renewed scrutiny. I think too many of us understand that whatever was intended, this isn’t it. The only action that they should have had the authority to do is broadcast a public emergency announcement, stating *recommended* measures and explaining the concern. Nothing more. Most of us would have followed the *advise*. Instead, we were treated as though we’re children and they’re the adults - we must fall in line and follow ‘orders’.
This has been a spectacular example of how tyranny can appear from nowhere. You can’t get rid of a virus that easily, we can see the draconian measure that some will impose in believing they can. Those in power just didn’t want it to impact THEM, it wasn’t about ‘our health’.
We should see some finding their way into a prison before this is all over. Especially now, it’s the ‘left vs. the Church’. They can’t help themselves, we all know they won’t let go of their ‘authority’. Sorry folks, the Constitution is a contract, you respect our rights and we’ll respect the authority we’ve GIVEN you. Break the contract, then it is breached for BOTH of us.
