My sister said in her town there are two family owned restaurants that have been around for decades. . .closed for good. Some of my friends and I have been trying to help a nearby restaurant by calling in our order and taking it to the park to eat We haven’t been arrested, yet.
I’ve lost my desire to shop and really don’t miss socializing. . .I mean who wants to talk through a mask that is suffocating the life out of you. I have, however, been upping my conversations with and attention to my pets even if they do bring some ticks into the house.
Democrats micromanaging business will destroy business every time...Half of all restaurants in this country will close thanks to dems “25-50%” capacity.......They don’t how to run a business ,so they run thousands of businesses....RIGHT INTO THE GROUND......
We are a small town, fast food, nail salons, some odds and ends businesses, biggest employer is Kroger’s. We’ve used the drive thru to have something I didn’t have to cook.
The worse part is Medical, we basically have very little. You have to make a 2 hr round trip into Memphis + wait time. Telemedicine is not up and running well, nor does it fit all medical needs. Woke up with a reaction to Glimerpride, eyelid swollen and red, Ophthalmologist is not in on Friday, So had to use the Little Clinic at Kroger’s, which is a poor sub for a full eye examine. Salve for the eye, turns out I react to it too.
We tried a Cell Phone Telemed, not much the Ophthalmologist can see but a swollen eyelid and it spreading to other one. They are Closed TO PATIENTS. The 1st drug is a necessity, type 2 diabetes, it was the 3rd try. Has tons of eye issues attached to it. Needless to say the Eye doc and Endo don’t confer. Going through the list of Type 2 drugs they all have eye issues. GI disease is bad and limits what can be eaten.
