Yeah, I was thinking about that, and the cases of Amadou Diallo and Abner Louima in NYC back in 1990s. Both of these happened when a Republican (Rudy Giuliani) was Mayor of NY.
But in this case, the mayor of Minneapolis is a Democrat, and the governor if Minnesota is DFL, which as I understand it is left of Democrat. They will I suppose play "Find The Republican" and end up blaming the Minneapolis incident on PDJT somehow, but it will be a stretch. I'm sure they'll try though.
Well, the birders vs the dog people thing goes back many years. Bird watchers regardless of race will get pissed when dog owners let their dogs run around scaring birds in areas that are ‘on leash’. That’s just par for the course in many dense city parks. In that regard, she was totally wrong and being a twit.

My BIL's wife is a Jewish woman from NY. You couldn't be around her 5 minutes and think she was anything but a lib. Without talking politics. Of course on top of that she's a retired public school teacher. All the lib boxes checked off there.
