Actually, I think the guy is a Karen (calling her out for breaking the rules) and she is a Becky for calling the cops.
Well, the birders vs the dog people thing goes back many years. Bird watchers regardless of race will get pissed when dog owners let their dogs run around scaring birds in areas that are ‘on leash’. That’s just par for the course in many dense city parks. In that regard, she was totally wrong and being a twit.
I’m a dog owner, but I really dislike irresponsible ones (just like I’m a gun owner but I dislike irresponsible ones, in both cases they just make it worse).
There’s a no off the leash dog rule in that limited section of Central Park.
It’s setoff especially for that nature watch that some folks like.
The Karen went Becky and then went Karening on him even more.
She’s in big trouble now and she’s at least cognizant enough to see it now.
