This is only part of a long process of emasculating that once proud school. The Corp of Cadets doesn’t even wear uniforms primarily anymore, opting for the golf-shirt look. Superficial, I know, but appearances often testify to an underlying false narrative.
When the bonfire tradition was completely scrapped because of an accident over 20 years ago, I knew the school’s downfall was imminent.
