I was at least hoping a male police chief would act like a man ... not in this case, though!
The police as an institution have utterly failed us, the public they were sworn to protect. Within a matter of days it’s all come crashing down.
No choice but to arm up & carry. If you have to draw & shoot, it’s “better to be judged by twelve than be carried by six”.
We are now on our own.
