Back two weeks ago on May 28, 2020, The Gateway Pundit reported — Fired Officer Derek Chauvin and George Floyd worked at the same south Minneapolis club as security guards up to the end of last year.
On Monday My 25th, Police Officer Derek Chauvin killed George Floyd during an arrest for passing a bad $20 dollar bill.
KTSP later reported that the two men both worked security at the El Nuevo Rodeo Club on Lake Street in Minneapolis.
On Tuesday CBS News reported that according to a former nightclub coworker the two men “bumped heads” at the nightclub.
The killing “might be personal.”

Read this news item from CBS News. Apparently, the cop who suffocated George Floyd knew him when they both worked at a nightclub.
There's talk out of Minneapolis early on that the nightclub the cop, Derek Chauvin and George Floyd both worked at was a front for money laundering and counterfeiting.
The Club was named El Nuevo Rodeo.
When the club closed (maybe due to the lockdown), Floyd and Chauvin were laid off. Chauvin still had his police job, but Floyd was poor and desperate and tried to pass a counterfeit bill during a business transaction.
Chauvin heard about it on his radio and got there quick, maybe worried that Floyd might spill the beans on the whole counterfeiting operation. And they had a confrontation. We all know what happened next. It could be something personal between Chauvin and George Floyd.
Anyway, thats the story. Certainly not out of the realm of possibility. Might be some interesting revelations if and when this gets to trial.

If true, this basically makes him an asshole that uses his badge to settle personal scores. It does absolutely nothing to help the image of law enforcement (as unfair as that may be to all the great and honest people in the field) nor to lessen the effort to defund police

I have agreed with the from the start
Cop thought Floyd would spill the beans on cops involvement in the counterfieting and money laundering at the door and took Floyd out.

According to a former coworker? Is that right up there with sources close to the President??

Saw something about that yesterday. Weird huh.

Floyd would have gotten $600+/week unemployment I suspect.
I believed the excessive payments would enrich drug dealers.
Dealers are upset that police are crimping business when customers are flush and not likely to face drug testing.

Ssssh! Let them go with it. This narrative takes racism completely out of the picture.

The part enabling me to infer that this may have been an illegal operation that both men were in on is a new twist.
It’s possible that this was not just personal, but that both men had participated in illegal activity. i.e. the use of force may have had nothing to do with race.

This narrative takes racism completely out of the picture. They'll find a way to reinject it. They always do.

We would know more if he had a working body cam. What is the point of body cams, if the police are not going to release the video and audio? Reportedly, all four policemen had body cams. But the only footage released came from an unnamed park policeman who arrived before Chauvin, but after the first two rookies. And that video was heavily redacted.
I have a feeling that if there is body cam footage, this entire story could change. It will have to come out at trial.

Been out there awhile in theory.
Doesnt change the end result which has been mayhem even though Floyd was a thug and should not be exonerated for anything
He died because of his life style a thug and a crook.
It was only a matter of time.
Cop was wrong and will pay.
The reset of us are now paying.
I am waiting for streets to be named after the animal Floyd

It reinforces the image. While a majority supports the police, a similar majority’s exposure to the cops is limited to minor traffic stops and the like. In such cases, the police tend to be officious, threatening pricks simply because they can be. That influences opinions.

WHAT does absolutely nothing to help the police???
That out of 300 MILLION arrests every year there’s gonna be a bunch of bad apples?
Of course there is.
Justice will be served and that should have been that.
I will confront EVERY PERSON on this board who even remotely thinks that somehow the insanity that ensues is justified.
And by asking PERFECTION, which is really what you are doing, that’s a slippery road to go down.
It would probably take me 2 minutes to find an arrest where a white guy died in the hands of police under suspicious conditions.
Do we burn the country down?
I’m not looking for an argument, I like your posts :)
But we can’t give them ANY room to breathe
enough whites are bending over
