This pretty much dispels the long-help believe that when the SHTF, all of the police would be on the side of law-abiding citizens. We really are screwed.

chicago’s goverenment stopped backing the police long ago. Why should the cops do anything about crime? I’ve advised them before all this BS to resign (via secondcitycop) and get out while they still can. The corrupt ones will stay.

I have a criminal defense atty here in LA. He ALWAYS tells me that cops are the laziest workers he has met professionally. This doesn’t even surprise me. Good for them allowing animals to kill each other.

I read that 2 of those 4 cops at the death of Floyd were ROOKIES. Newbies.
They were there to shut up and learn.
Sucks for them. Their law enforcement career is over and done. Before it even started.
