Seattle activists just can’t settle on a name for their cop-free protest pace.
Once known as the “Capital Hill Autonomous Zone,” or CHAZ, the protesters behind the festival-like takeover of a six-block radius around an emptied-out police precinct in the neighborhood are now pushing a new acronym for the space: “CHOP,” or Capitol Hill Organized Protest.
One protester, Maurice Cola, told reporters in a widely circulated Twitter video that the change was to better reflect the organizers’ message.
“This is not an autonomous zone. We are not trying to secede from the United States,” Cola said.
But protesters there can’t agree on what the “O” stands for, with some pushing the moniker “Capitol Hill Occupied Protest” and others using “Capitol Hill Organized Protest.”
Cola said demonstrators using “Occupied” were confused.
“People are not understanding they’re seeing the acronym and they’re just jumping the gun,” he went on
But the rioters can agree on one thing, they want the cities to burn.
After a group of anarchists took over a 7-block area of Seattle, it was called a “block party” and so “peaceful,” but there is trouble in this so-called “Autonomous Zone.” It’s not all fun and games.
Yesterday there was another incident!
A man on a microphone sicced a large mob on the Car Tender autoshop near the Seattle “autonomous zone.” They broke down the fence. The owner said he apprehended an arsonist before all his comrades showed up to try and free him. Police never came.

Don’t get me wrong we need reform in the police department and we need to fight against police brutality but “defund the Police” movement gotta stop!

The police won’t respond. Left wing politicians don’t care.
Until vigilantes appear. And THEN they will respond...to arrest the vigilantes.

At one time or another, ALL groups of people will be targeted by the left. The left creates cultural ‘enemies’, and then rallies their followers around hatred/resentment of these cultural enemies. Any American who thinks they are immune to this needs to think harder.

This is why it’s not helpful to blindly support the police. Big city police departments are almost as corrupt as the FBI.
Cops do what the mayor tells them to do. The mayor wants businesses destroyed and the savages to take whatever is “rightfully” theirs.
Will the last business in the area please turn off the lights... if you’re still alive to do so.
I am looking forward to the utter hysteria and demand for police action if someone anonymously dresses up and hangs a mannequin from a difficult to get to high place, with the usual fixin’s, to include a sign around their neck which reads “LOOTER”.
The police response: “We’d *really like* to go there and help, but the Mayor and governor told us to back off. So, you’re on your own.”
That should stop the arsonists.
Or, he should realize this is his new normal in Seattle and GTHO and take his business, tax liability and jobs with him.

Using the word Video in the headline is just a come-on. The video actually doesn’t show anything. Just a bunch of folks milling around. Wait, I forgot. Yes, the video does show them breaking down the fence. Other than that, just milling around.
The guy should’ve told the police he had apprehended a barber. Or a guy on his way to church.
Every time I see the word CHAZ, I think of Sonny & Cher’s trans daughter Chaz. Ironically I think it was short for Chastity.
Meh. Bring in a band and call it Woodstock.
And leave a ton of garbage before you leave and go back to mom’s basement.
Kids are so cute at that age. :)
