I love hearing Europeans making absurd suggestions about things like that. They have no idea how large this country is.
Way back in the early 1990s, I met up with some friends from Germany who were visiting my hometown in Idaho. They’d been foreign exchange students in my senior year of HS several years before. I was home on leave from the Air Force and had to head back to Davis-Monthan in Tucson. I invited them to ride with me on my return to AS. 1150 miles and two days of driving later, they still couldn’t believe we’d only driven in three states. ID, NV, and AZ.
They also freaked out when we were driving through Phoenix and the temperature read 44 Celsius.
