Depends on who you read. According to CBS, ABC, and USA Today, there was no intentional poisoning, just mistakes made. (However, the police were the only ones reported to have gotten sick)

I guess I’m a little confused. A police officer, using approved tactics to detain a large person on meth and fentanyl, which a doctor would never prescribe to an asthmatic, and the person dies and the cop is called out for murder, but three cops can be poisoned with a shake machine not being clean properly, and there is no report of anyone else being poisoned, and the restaurant is not criminally responsible?
If I was the cops, I’d walk and let the citizens face their own accepted crime. Cops have every right of citizens in being protected by a law that should be interpreted the same way.
