Wait, did we expect the press to give us the whole story ??
The media has their red meat and they are going to race around like a corgi with a brisket in its maw, for some time. It is to be expected; they are a visual lot and the appearance of a half-empty sports arena for a Trump rally delivers far more messaging than multiple columns and hundreds of words of fictional news can deliver. Also expected that visual shorthand precludes the press from digging any further into the story.
While many journalists are gleefully detailing how supposedly teenagers from across the country managed to Hoover up a massive batch of tickets for Saturdays event in Tulsa, severely impacting the attendance figures they fail to recognize that this undercuts their very narrative. If the media wants to give credit to the kids for this manipulated stunt, fine but then it means their claims of Trump losing traction with voters and his support dwindling cannot possibly be accurate. It would be akin to the press cheering on the burning down of a Wendys restaurant, then saying the ensuing lack of sales proves people do not want hamburgers anymore (not to imply this actually transpired.)
There is one other detail that unravels the narrative of Trump losing his audience; the ratings blew the roof off of that underfilled arena. The viewership figures have come in from Saturdays event and they are more than just impressive, they are something the press corps is completely unwilling to acknowledge they were record-setting.
A whopping 7.7 million total viewers tuned into Fox News from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. EDT during Trumps remarks, making it the most watched Saturday in the networks history during that time period, according to early Nielsen data. Trumps rally also gave Fox News its largest Saturday night primetime audience ever from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Where is Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez raving about how the kids on Tik Tok affected the ratings?!
To go along with that impressive figure there is also the online streaming figures to factor in. Eliminating the over 2 million views on the FoxNews feed just in case those were considered in their ratings a cursory look over the various news network accounts on YouTube shows more widespread viewership. At least another 4 million views can be totaled there, and that is hardly a comprehensive tally.
Just to underscore the significance, Joe Biden is hardly coming close to those figures in his streaming efforts. In truth, his online viewership cannot even achieve that Tulsa rally attendance. He has abandoned his regular at-home townhall videos, due to lack of interest. And just a week ago he gave a speech at the Wisconsin Democrat Party virtual convention. Joes address to the party was never watched by more than 70 people or so.
This is a perspective we are not likely to see mentioned in the mainstream circles.
I heard that all sources together totaled 12 million viewers.
Yes.
It still was pretty full.
With the Covid hysteria, not bad.
A lot of people are scared of it.
I would guess a lot of older people chose not to go when w/o Covid they would have.
Yeah it was my first one to even watch at home and it was great.
If this many people tuned in to watch him, how many are going to vote for him??
We will have to fight fraud and illegals and God knows what else, so we must get everyone out there to vote.
Even in NY and CA since it would be great to shut down the “popular vote” narrative.
The fraud will be so bad that Dems will probably outright burn our ballots.
Watched the address on C-Span, myself.
In front of us.
If antifa and blm are planning an intimidation campaign and some places are getting rid of police departments or not letting them respond to such things, it’s gonna make for some interesting voting.
When Trump wins, the NG will probably have to be called out across the country.
They should have in certain places already.
Only the corrupt media can attempt to spin a rally, that had over 10 million viewers, into a failure
It seemed the press was more concerned about the term Kung Flu than anything during the goddesses press briefing today
The libs can’t have it both ways. Can’t remember the source, however, yesterday I read there were 1000’s of tickets reserved by “supporters” who were actually from this liberal teen group. Their motive was to secure tickets and not show up to give the impression the interest for the President has subsided. It’s all BS.
I rread 4M viewed it online.
His inauguration was 31 million so I think he did great.
I’ve heard there is a pretty good number of citizen social workers in America if you know what I mean:-)
When Donald J. Trump gets up there before the arena crowd, and he begins to freewheel through what is almost entirely extemporaneous speaking, you can SEE it energizing both him and the crowd. Even through the TV screen, it is electrifying, and has the people at home standing up and shouting in unison with the live crowd.
None of it is rehearsed, and none of it is made up. It just flows, like a flood turned loose.
I watched on Newsmax on Roku as I no longer can get free FNC.
Yeah - That pic of the New Black Panthers with the clubs in front of a polling station near Philadelphia might be repeated, in lots more places.
People need to have a plan.
This is working for me
7.7 million
+0.4 million
c-span had excellent coverage.
President Trump Campaign Rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma

At 02:26 is the view of the crowd. Nothing thin about it, in spite of what the Media said. Of course, they always lie.
They also ignore that the Tulsa Rally was the highest attended stadium event IN THE ENTIRE NATION since March.
