My expert analysis: Barr was letting Flynn roast on a spit for nothing knowing that he was set up. He didn't care. He only agreed to drop the case against Flynn because Sidney Powell's aggressive defense was making DOJ very uncomfortable with all the evidence of rampant corruption that kept dripping out. Barr wanted that stopped so he finally said 'cut him loose'. But the judge wouldn't play along.

So Barr let this fly for two reasons: one, to try to force the Judge's hand. But failing that, to explain to whoever is pulling Sullivan's strings that he has way more dirt that he's keeping buried (not just about Flynn) and he could let it out if he's pushed further. He's trying to cauterize a bleeding wound and if Sullivan won't let him then he's going to make sure the people controlling Sullivan start bleeding too.

But, it gets Solomon on Hannity.
Shawn can tell the same old stories and John can talk about a new thing.
If anything were to really happen, we would not hear it in a news story.

I agree with your assessment. Maybe this is pushing Sullivan? He has ignored all the “withholding of evidence”. He refused to enforce his own Order To Produce. The DOJ Attorney appointed by Bagg came up big earlier. Now they have these notes and the article says there is “MORE”. Letting Sullivan get deeper. Van Grack, Meuller and Weismann neecd a good spanking. Strzok is just a puissant.
