Biden is an awesome debater and only idiots underestimate him. His best skill is making up facts on the spot but Trump won’t have access to the internet to refute these fake facts. There will be many gotcha moments that help Biden as a result of his skill at making up facts.
And he will have the “moderators” going all in for him.
Never forget Megyn’s ill-fated gotcha question for then-candidate Trump.
Expect to see the debates as non-stop accusations based on fake news that President Trump will have to respond to. They have one last shot, and the debates will be it.
I don’t disagree with you about Biden.
I do realize that is was 2012 but he took Paul Ryan to the cleaners in the VP debate. Say whatever you want about whether Ryan was a RINO or not but he was supposed to have good debating and speaking skills.
Biden schooled him. He took the offensive right away and put Ryan on the ropes. Ryan never recovered that night. Was Biden a jerk that night? He sure as hell was. But IIRC, he saved the day for Obama after his bad 1st debate with Romney.
Maybe the old Joe was. The new Joe did not handle the Dem debates so well. He had one debate where he did well the rest so, so. Debating with other Dems is one thing, debating Trump is another.
I can see Trump stating that Joe supported the crime bill that disproportionally affects minorities. After Biden responds, Trump can hammer it home with, if my opponent felt that way why did he not fix it while VP for 8 years. What can Biden then say, it was Obama’s fault not mine. Trump can even use some of the accusations against Biden made by Dems in those debates, Biden had trouble answering those. Remember, they needed Warren to remain in the race to defeat Bernie or Biden was toast.
Unfortunately there is some truth in what you say. He owned Palin and Ryan in past VP debates. Mix in blood doping to increase Biden's mental accuity, a sympathetic line of questions from DNC hand picked moderators, and Trump could wind up being portrayed as something less than presidential.

His lying and making up crap certainly served him well in the past. But the current Joe isn't even close to the 2012 Joe. Go on Youtube and watch some highlights of his debate with Ryan. Then have a look at THIS CLIP. He is trying to read from a teleprompter while talking to someone. It was not a teleprompter moment, but Joe can scarcely form a sentence nowadays so they had a teleptompter set up with talking points. He is a shadow of his former self.
In that clip, he states "we're posed!"; then figures out that he read it wrong and says "...uh I have proposed". If he tries his usual schtick in a debate he will get confused as to which lie about himself he is telling and may well even bring Corn-pop into the conversation.
