There's the modern leftist in a nutshell right there.
They are all about "diversity" and "acceptance" even "choice" - until you actually hold an opinion, belief, or ideals that differ from them. Then that "absolute obedience" thing kicks in and they believe they are justified in destroying you. Like the old elections in dictatorships - you can elect anyone you want, but there's only one name on the ballot and no write-ins. You can make any choice you want, but if you make the "wrong" choice then you're not going to have a choice - we're going to force you to make the "right" choice.
The leftists exist in their own little echo chamber. They've convinced themselves they are the smartest people in the room. {take a moment to stop laughing at that notion after considering the likes of Biden, Pelosi, Maxine Waters, etc.} They're convinced they should run things for our own good.
Of course when we serfs don't show them the proper deference, well at least what they believe they're entitled to... That's when the fascist lurking inside each one of them comes out. They want the power to enforce their ideals, to force us into compliance. 'eff 'em.
