I look at my parents church and the demographics are average age > 65. I’m not sure what it is nationwide. A majority of Americans don’t go to church regularly and COVID may make those numbers even bleaker.
But the only “excitement” in the GOP besides a few renegades is Trump. He got fresh blood into the GOP right as it was about to die off. Obviously Trump isn’t attracting bodies for his views on hot-button religious issues.

Agree with you, bhl. But Trump displays actual POWER—the mark of a true Christian! This is what attracts people to him.
