President Donald Trump used a White House event on China to excoriate his expected Democratic presidential rival, Joe Biden, on Tuesday in a rambling diatribe that turned the Rose Garden setting into a substitute rally venue, minus his supporters.
The Republican president, who trails Biden in national opinion polls, has chafed at his inability to hold large political gatherings because of the coronavirus pandemic.
His campaign postponed an outdoor rally scheduled for last Saturday in New Hampshire, citing a tropical storm off the East Coast. An indoor rally he held in Tulsa, Oklahoma, last month featured a partially empty arena.

How silly. Biden crawls out of his hole to attack Trump every couple of days and that’s just great with the enemy media. All the president is doing is responding and campaigning all at the same time.
Trump should have taken the political activists to a hospital emergency room full of illegals, then given them free blankets to take home.

If you ever had any doubt the media was against Trump.
It was indeed a campaign style speech in which Trump took apart Biden’s earlier speech and skewered his platform as an extreme Leftwing recipe for disaster. Well done at that. It was not rambling so much as A point by point refutation of the absurdities of the prog program adopted by Biden.

OAN has been decidedly pro-Trump up until this point, carrying all of his rallies and other events that none of the other channels bother to air.
Hope they haven’t gone over to the dark side.

Just reading on Twitter, most Trump supporters saw it as a rally and are laughing about how Trump trolled the reporters.

Mason does have a colleague at Reuters, Steve Holland, who I believe PDJT holds in high esteem and frequently calls on him at press conferences.
