Listen to NPR while driving to work?
Guaranteed to put in someone a pissy mood even before they sit down at their desk.
Or asleep.
National PINKO Radio is so far left I am usually pissed off after just 2 minutes listening immediately flip the station.
Have they been airing reruns this whole time?
Could their audience even tell the difference?
I used to tune in to my local NPR during my long commute just to track what the commies are saying. I always got a kick out of their obscure, shoot-me boring news stories, like being transgender in Siberia, or something similar. And the insufferable Diana Rehm show was always good for a laugh.
Listen to NPR while driving to work?
Actually, yeah.
No commercials.
And yes, it does keep me in a “pissy” mood.
Gets the blood flowing and gets me wide awake...
of course, I’m paying for it too...
Tries listening to all things considered years ago when doing long distance driving. Almost fell asleep.
A couple of years ago my apolitical friend started listening to NPR on the way to work. Two weeks before the George Floyd incident she started spewing out of character things like “America is racist”. Awfully coincidental.
I listen to XM148 OTR, 70s channel, classic jazz, and Yacht Rock Radio.
I still turn it on sometimes early in the morning, for maybe a half-minute or so, just to remember how that monstrous effer Garrison Keeler was fired for sticking his stinking finger where it didn't belong.
HA!
