Interesting quandary. If a "Born Again" Christians makes an honest and heartfelt pledge to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior then he will be spared.

However, there is no act that a Calvinist can perform to guarantee his salvation. It is the Grace of God and Faith alone that will save or damn him. So no Calvinist can ever be certain that he is one of the Elect and will be spared.

here we go, there is no act YOU can do that will save you. the very fact that YOU think its YOU that did something tells me you are a self-righteous fool. The act of salvation is Christs alone.

you are a confused soul, how can one be born again BEFORE they accept Christ!!!
the only “ACT” if you want to call it that is believing that Jesus Christ IS GOD in the flesh who DIED for your sins!

and yes a “Calvinist” (as if people identify themselves as such) CAN be quite certain they are saved by doing just what is asked of them by Christ himself!!

To imply you must DO something like paying dues to keep your salvation denies the power of the BLOOD of Christ!

For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain except for the cowards shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Calvinists believe once saved, always saved, no matter your life aftwr that decision. They say it is God alone, who will decide that, not any cleric.
