I know not everything is 4D chess, maybe Trump made an honest mistake. However, it seemed very specific that Trump would insist on reading through the list, almost planned. Either way, what this does is drive a wedge between Biden and BLM. Biden can’t support their call to defund the police without proving Trump correct. Now he has to walk on eggshells all the way to the election while not saying anything remotely close to defunding the police, or even reallocating funds from the police, no matter how much the far Left wants him too.
In short, it may further keep the Bernie bots on the sidelines.

Moreover, IIRC, Fox is going to dumping some new BS poll numbers during that same hour, probably showing our man trailing by 20 points or more.
