Hockey doesn’t translate well on TV, but it is, by far, the best sport to see live. Especially rinkside. Amazing.

Just not too close to the visiting team box, at least for minor league hockey. The smell of the equipment can be quite overpowering...

Won a ticket to a hockey game 15 years ago or so. Glad I went, just because I never had, but the only thing that interested me was an early drone over the crowd dropping coupons and such, and I wished I’d brought a beach ball to bat around in the crowd.

I’ve found I don’t mind watching sports I’ve played, but even then it’s hard to stay focused for an entire game.

Agree, it isn’t best viewed in TV, but there in nothing as exciting as being in the arena watching. Unless you’re with shots in premium seats or suites who are more interested in their phones or chatting.
