Other than the headline, I don't see any evidence that those are feds. Rockford is still a working class city. The nuts and twigs who hang out in Seattle, Portland or even Minneapolis or Madison don't live in Rockford.

The city is hit hard by Antifa because Chicago is only 90 miles away. But Rockford was never a hippie town. Years ago, when it had a chance to host the Northern Illinois University campus, local industry pushed AGAINST it, for fear that college grads would want more money.
