Protests broke out in Rochester, N.Y., following the release Wednesday of police body-camera footage of a Black man who died after being injured during his arrest last March.
Daniel Prude was arrested by Rochester Police in the early hours of March 23, after his brother, concerned for Prude’s safety, had called 911. Prude, 41, had left his brother’s house in below-freezing weather wearing long johns and a tank top. He had been released from Rochester’s Strong Memorial Hospital earlier that night after expressing suicidal thoughts.
When Rochester Police officers came upon Prude, he was naked and in distress. Prude had allegedly just gone on a destructive tear, according to police reports, smashing out the windows of several storefronts and ranting about having the coronavirus. A passing tow truck driver who called 911 described Prude as being covered in blood.
A new video was released today and it shows Prude spitting at one point, then yelling and pleading with officers to let him go before they place a “spit hood” over his head. Moments later when he tries to stand up, they wrestle him down and hold him face down for more than 2 minutes. Video below:

Prude’s brother Joe called the officers’ actions “cold-blooded murder” in a news conference held by the family that highlighted the newly released video, Fox News reported.
“How many more brothers got to die for society to understand that this needs to stop?” Joe said as he called for the three officers involved in the arrest to be fired and charged with murder.
Daniel was left brain-dead and died a week later, on March 30, after police were seen in the footage laughing at him as he lay naked and cuffed on the ground during his arrest.
The medical examiner ruled his death a homicide, caused by “complications of asphyxia in the setting of physical restraint, excited delirium [and] acute phencyclidine [PCP] intoxication.”

There are plenty of these videos they can use to keep the vernacular going. Obey the cops and you are almost certainly going to be find. In the presence of cops is the worst place you can be a dick. It could cost you. Don’t do it.
Save it for the courtroom.
It's a simple enough matter -- Democrats should not be entrusted with political power. They are inherently intolerant and violent.
What some people...most people actually...don’t know is that someone truly in excited delirium state basically has a 50/50 chance of dying no matter what the police do or don’t do.

What are the law enforcement officers to do. You deal with dangerous people who are not in their right minds. This man was dangerous to himself and others the officers were called in to help. This is what happened. It had nothing to do with being white or black. In fact there are examples of this happening to white men who were acting like this. Bringing race into this is pure politics. When are people going to see that this man died because of his actions and the officers had no choice to react like they did. I guess they could have told the brother it was his problem and not theirs. This is where it is going.
Its also a good way to increase the relatives’ chances of an out-of-court cash settlement from the City.
I was done with Democrats 40 years ago. My question is why has anyone empowered them for all these years?

The national attention on television inflames the criminals to fight the police. They already have an attitude towards authority figures and protesting and liberal posturing just makes them feel that they are in the right. What you don’t need is a criminal who is convinced that he is in the right.

Right now, if i had the time and talent...i would be trying to invent a device that jams/disables any and all phones and recording devices within a 200 foot radius.
When the great healer Biden is elected all this will stop.
The protestors and any politician saying this is murder should be asked, “What should the cops have done?”
Cops are only told what they cant do even if it is part of their training.
