It dropped below 10%. That much positive movement in the midst of these lockouts and lockdowns IS good news. Why do you diss this good news?
I don’t disagree that any drop in unemployment is good news. That does not change the fact that normal unemployment rate is between 4.7 and 5.8%. Let’s not declare victory prematurely and get ourselves in debt by spending like the economy’s in good shape again.
