Just to set the stage, a video was released earlier this week involving the death of a black man, Daniel Prude, in police custody in Rochester. He actually died in March.
There were marches earlier in the week. So you knew it wasnt going to be good come the weekend, and its not looking good right now. They are completely out of their minds.
Thousands came out, estimated around 5,500 people.
But then the peaceful protest, as always, went south.

Going through residential neighborhoods:

Then it got really out of hand, as they chanted, We shut s**t down!. They not only shut down traffic, but they were going into businesses, demanding that they shut down. Or else.
This is full-on Red Guard time, scary stuff, as they stormed the Ox Stone bar, demanding that they shut down, smashing things.
-snip
BLM were also reportedly flooding onto peoples property and going up to houses, as you can see here.

I’ve gotten some decent priced ammo via GunBroker recently though it was new old stock. I don’t always differentiate between practice ammo and self-defense ammo. I load up mild 41 mags using 200 grain semi-wadcutters and those are for everything except hunting. Even light factory loaded 380 ball ammo ain’t bad for practice and popping rib cages.
The cops must be busy arresting the people that are defending themselves.
yes
They went bananas there after George Floyd died. I was born and raised in Rochester, NY. Moved away around 1973 to the Utica, NY area. My family is all gone from there except for my brother’s widow and my niece who live in Ontario, New York. My niece and her husband have to go to Rochester to work. My niece’s husband works in the city’s rec department, and he’s right in the middle of the crap. During the lockdown, even with no kids going to the center, they had him working part-time, handing out meals to the homeless people in the area. I’ll have to call them and see what’s going on.
I thought she looked like a young Lizzie Warren. Just as arrogant too. She put on a good show for the camera.
Yeah, they are repurposing existing facilities in Rochester, New York, and St. Paul, Minnesota. My brother worked at the Elmgrove plant in Gates, NY, and there's the Kodak Business Park in the city of Rochester. If I had to guess, I'd say they would do the work at the Elmgrove plant, but I haven't lived there in many years, so I could be wrong.
Remington Arms in Illion? I live in Rome, NY.
” Antifa seems the thrive in parts of the country where states dont allow people to protect themselves. “
?? In Oregon and Washington concealed carry permits are very common. WA allows open carry as does Oregon (I believe). It is the large cities, Seattle and Portland, with the problematic governments, not the state constitutions that are the problem.
learn from this folks
That may work in Democrat run s**tholes, but it won't fly in most of red America. Look how wimpy they were in Sturgis. They can get away with their antics when the people are disarmed and there is no Stand your Ground law
Is this the guy that was NAKED and HIGH on DRUGS running around the neighborhood yelling that he had COVID??
OMG!! OMG!!! ANIMALS!!! They all need to be PUT DOWN!
Black Female Mayors and Black Police Chiefs and Democrat Governors seem to be the THREAD that unites all these Horrible incidents!
Difficult to fire without a charge of r*****...
No kidding!!
The Democratic Party, Antifa, BLM, Communist Party USA, and Chinese Communist Party are one and the same.
Enough already with the terrorists. Has Cuomo complimented and commended them yet? Of course shutting down and destroying a city isn’t as cool as what he did, i.e., murdering thousands of senior citizens. Still, he must admire them on another level.
“Forgive me if I dont give a rats azz about Rochester burning.”
My dear friend since we were three years old lives there. The hospital and doctor that saved Mom’s life are there. I hope they are spared.
Or participating.
“Its music to my ears.”
When we moved to TN from CA 10 years ago, it was to a very rural area. The day after our move we started to hear gunshots around us. Like you: Music to our ears. It reminded me of visiting Grandpa’s farm in western NY decades ago. Family still lives on the farm, and gunshots still are heard.
