I wonder what they call people who try to coerce and gaslight the entire country to, oh I don’t know, maybe to believe that peace in the Middle-East is bad, Soleimani was good, cops are bad, and rapists should be given endangered species status unless they are stupid rapists that embarrass the Democratic Party whereupon everything they have done needs to be swept under the rug and if any law enforcement fails in their duty to protect Democratic officials from exposure than the officer/s in question must be blamed.

I was reading an article yesterday where a psychologist was pressured by his colleagues to say Trump was a narcissist. He spent the article saying that narcissists might do some of the cherry picked things that are on record that Trump has done, but that it is not a reputable psychologist thing to do to make a diagnosis based on that. It is certainly the case that most politicians do fit the profile of narcissists, but without seeing someone in person as a patient, you just cannot make that diagnosis. I think he is right that our government is filled with elected people who probably are narcissists.
But he is ours!

One final thought. Pres. Trump is known to have mild OCD. People with OCD tend to be fairly nice to other people in part because a fair number of them are plagued with continually imagining terrible things befalling other people and they feel horrible for having such thoughts. There are people with both Narcissism and OCD and the way in which these two disorders interact is known. The list containing the two combined looks a lot more like Johnny Depp than POTUS, who has been known to modify his behavior (shaking hands) in order to look less out of step with the rest of the world. That falls in the category of OCD alone.
Congress is full of people who would likely be classified as Narcissists. So is Hollywood, so is the media. We have a whole lot of pots calling the kettle black.
