You can see how extensive these smoke plumes are with this tool. Currently covers most of North America. It changes with the jet stream but over the last three weeks it has been about like this.

AirNow

You can get rid of the green and yellow dots using the layers function at the top right. Makes it easier to see the smoke plumes when you scroll out.

Let me add, (now that I read the comments).. the air here is pretty clean, and there is no 5G within a hundred miles., and it is definitely not Biden Country... I doubt that he, nor Kamala or any of their team could even find it on a map.

If you think the air is clean in NM you should look at the map I linked to in #23. Keep a couple of things in mind. The smoke may be aloft not at ground level and migratory birds didn’t start out in NM.

Both of those reasons, smoke aloft and a long flight, might account for the fact that only migratory birds have been dying and local birds have not.

Hot Summer and wildfire smoke. And of course, the death ray from the flying saucer people. Oh wait...The death ray is just a re-formulation of Democrat policy. Nothing to see there. Policy is just democrat philosophy .

Birds ride jet stream which was unusually parked way north bringing terrible heat to southwest.

It has been sprinkling a LOT at my place for the last week, so my air is comparatively clean, and my predominate winds have been almost directly from the south.

Maybe there is lots of smoke above the cloud level here, My nose is pretty sensitive to smoke... I catch an occasional whiff, but mostly I blame it on the campground a mile away. Lots of Deer & Elk hunters out... But I have been surprised at how little there is. Quien Sabe.

After flying over solar panel arrays and dodging windmills?

I saw a dead bat this year. Had seen bats in flight in my city but never a dead one on the sidewalk

That’s pedestrian. I want the good stuff, like a HAARP array gone rogue or a species-crossing mystery virus released from a biolab. C’mon, man, X-Files stuff.

The only thing that kills birds are wind turbines, just as freeps.

What a garbage article, hushed tones of impending doom. Garbage.
“Over 3 billion birds have died since 1970. Insect populations are crashing, and this is just an unprecedented mortality…”

There are 100 billion birds on the planet.
And yes, I prefer ‘live’ birds...

Things would get pretty crowded if no birds ever died though.

Do you think they even proofread this stuff?
Maybe just count on ‘spellcheck’ to save them...

About 9 million people died in China last year. I’m guessing that over the last 50 years there have probably been 1 to 2 billion humans that died.
