Should be overturned in every state that is trying to do this.

This is why it is so important to confirm ACB ASAP.

“Should be overturned in every state that is trying to do this.”

Getting one makes it easier to get two. Now there is precedent.

US Constitution
Article 1
Section 4
The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof; but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations, except as to the Places of chusing Senators.

Pretty clearly there is NO role for Courts in planning elections. The SC should tell all courts to back off and stop intervening where they have no authority.

Why doesn’t this ruling apply all across the country the way rulings against Trump do?

You’re thinking of the ruling of District Courts, which pretend to have jurisdiction beyond the parties that are before it. Justice Thomas has signaled that SCOTUS should address this abuse of power. circuit Court rulings apply only in that circuit . Disputes between circuits are one of the reasons SCOTUS will accept cases for review

Republicans are the majority on the circuit courts for all the key states except NC, AZ, and NV. Those would have to be bumped to the SC.

Haha. Hopefully, the Trump people have prepared for this and other DIM/LIB/leftist lunacy.
