All welfare state promises are functionally the same than bribery. They never seem to completely deliver though. Free health care. Free college.

So there is no way Biden will have the money to forgive TRILLIONS in student debt or any other freebie.

If I were to add anything (and maybe I just read the article too fast and missed it), but more could be said about how Biden's minders' plan pokes a dirty finger in the eyes of those who served in our Military and earned and used the GI Bill (me, for instance) and also those worked their way through school (me, for the post-graduate instance). Neo-chumps, under Biden plan.
And, related, one hopes that President Trump makes the excellent point that our colleges and universities would benefit from in-depth and comprehensive audits, which would, one highly suspects, uncover multiple layers of featherbedding and outright theft and fraud.

I was in a situation last week where I was being taken advantage because I was always on-time and I don't complain. But those who are late and do complain were getting special treatment (squeaky wheels get the attention) and I was expected to be delayed and receive substandard service. That was happening regularly. It's in a healthcare context by the way. The person I was dealing with had the audacity to say, "well some people just can't make it on time, and because they are late, you'll just have to wait." I'm never late. I make a point of respecting peoples' time. This person just couldn't see what was wrong with taking advantage of me because of someone else's irresponsibility and laziness.
It's the same thought process with student loan forgiveness. Responsible people do the right thing, pay for their children's education and then are expected to pay for irresponsible peoples' children. So not only do responsible people postpone purchases, vacations and other things they will also be hit with higher tax bills which further delays obtaining things they deserve. I think a little nastiness is required.

Yes, this is unfair to three groups: the 60% of Americans who don’t have a college degree, those Americans who saved up and paid cash for their education or their kids’ education, and those who paid off their student loans (currently 80% of all students take out student loans).
Moreover, more student loans are being taken out DAILY. Will we forgive every month the same amount we are giving out? If so, that is not a loan—it is a grant.
Headline correct. That is what gov does takes from one group gives to aanother.

I worked my way though college earning a real degree. This makes me mad as hell.
