Knowledgeable people--to which all gubmint agencies have access--can verify the authenticity of any complete email, generally within ten minutes by checking its detail/meta-information. The email then either passes the verification or it doesn't (e.g., if it was subsequently altered). All valid, similarly sourced and directed emails can be then verified in very short order, which is why we never saw or heard of any of Assange's Wikileak email dumps being contested as to their legitimacy.
