I don't think President Trump does anything with Fauci until after the Election - even though he knows that Fauci has been a disaster for the Country. Whether Fauci fed this CoVid hysteria by intent, or by incompetence - we'll never know. But the President can't afford to 'upset' the fearbro contingent, nor those who have had their worldviews shaped entirely by the propagandists working in the main stream media.
But Day 1 after the Election - I suspect he'll get rid of "Doctor" Fauci -- to the extent that he is able to get rid of untouchable SES employees. As one once wrote here, if he can't fire him - at least send him to run the Tropical disease office in Nome, Alaska.
