They will learn the hard way Vera, if they get their way. Problem is, there will be no where for us who love this country and the freedom and opportunities that all we have here, to run to. Nor will they, once their pipe dream is shattered by reality.

My friend Vitaly and his family were on one of the first flights out when the wall came down.... Took all the tests and became a citizen... He is more American than most Americans are.... He loves it here...
Thank you for sharing this!
I am currently reading “The Gulag Archipelago”. It is eye opening. We all know the stories and death totals. But the level of depravity and fear is simply astounding. Leftivism/socialism/communism is an evil that should never bee allowed.
I recommend a similar story/book: Pretending to Sleep: A Communism Survivor’s Short Story by Monalisa Foster
Every single socialist( Communist) environmentalist( communist) settled scientist( communist) tells me there must be a cleansing of the earth. Every single one believes in something besides God. Every single one is pro choice and believes billions should be killed because humans are not good for the planet.
I’m sure there are nice communists. I haven’t met one yet.
in the US today, people do not respect hard work, family values, honesty, loving the Lord, and living morally...
its freebies here and there and you can screw around and get an abortion or push your girlfriend to get an abortion......so many people just refuse to work and on the opposite side, too many work relatively meaningless jobs for the govt and retire in grand style....
private employment..well....you can be the CEO and get paid millions and in the meantime cut the pay and benefits of your workers...
we've sort of become two nations in one.
I’ll take immigrants escaping Socialism or Communism anytime over those wanting to come because their countries are on economic hard times.
Not great writing, but pretty powerful.
(Best read at the link where there are paragraphs and the pictures are in focus.)

Thanks so much for posting this. I have saved it and plan to share it with my extended family for an early Thanksgiving greeting.
I am not sure from conversations that I have had with children in school today, that any of them know stuff like this. Of course when I grew up, we all knew it-from weekly readers to civics/history we were taught about it.
Does anyone know if the schools today even teach civics and about the founding philosophy-what makes our country’s style of governance exceptional?
