Republican Senators Lisa Murkowski (R-AL) and Susan Collins (R-MN) voted with Democrats on Sunday.

Never let this go down the memory hole.

Republican Senators Lisa Murkowski (R-AL)

Article has the state abbreviation incorrect. Alaska is AK, not AL. AL is Alabama.

Given your screen name...I’d tend to agree. ;)

Murkowski already announced that she would vote no on the motion to proceed, but yes on the confirmation. Collins has already announced that she will vote on confirmation. Collins will probably lose in November, regardless, but it will still be better to have her than a Democrat. Do you really want Schumer to be Senate majority leader? Collins gave Kavanaugh the margin of victory, and that took some courage. If that’s all she ever did, it was worthwhile.

I doubt Collins can do a whole six year term. She shakes like crazy . She should have retired. I’d like to see us hold the senate and get new leadership . Johnson should get rewarded with senate majority leader .

If Collins still thinks she has a hope of keeping her seat (she doesn’t), she has to vote “no”.

Collins needed to because she comes from such an obtuse electorate. No excuse for murkowski though. Just a jerk playing ‘independent.’

I hope Collins realizes that she will get more votes doing her job by voting to confirm an extremely qualified nominee than she would hope to gain by caving to leftist interests. If Maine were as left as people would have you believe a Republican would not have her seat.

Isn’t Murkowski from AK? Not AL?
