First no one really owns a Cat
Lol, true. How about live with one and obey its commands?
“””First no one really owns a Cat”””
My cats have allowed me to tell people I own them, but there will be consequences.
Dogs have owners, Cats have staff.
The cat owns you.
Its all good if you put a pancake on its head.
Cat owners are staff.
Actually completely depends on the cat.
My current is sort of stereotypical. He is nice but skittish a bit, likes to be around us, but on his terms. Wants to be affectionate when he likes it, but if we try on him he squirms. Doesnt particularly care if we try to call him.
My most beloved cat who died 20 years ago, was so sweet and loved all the attention, would follow us anywhere and came when called very happily.
Cats have us very well trained. In fact, I have read that cats only meow to humans (not to other cats) because they know we will respond and give them attention.
