Four years ago, just prior to the elections, and I was among the many who believed that Hillary was most likely to win the election, I wrote The Moral Argument for "Let it Burn". It's a somewhat long piece, but in my humble opinion I'd argue was one of my best posts. The quick summary is that if our country is in an inevitable decline (which was slowed down, but hardly stopped by president Trump's election), then we have a moral obligation to rip the band aid off as soon as possible rather than compound the amount of repair needed afterward. Our country has too many people smart enough, patriotic enough, and with the will to ensure that the idea of America endures. So why am I so convinced that we are on borrowed time?
The gang at Right Angle made an excellent video on a Politico piece pointing out that even if Biden wins he's still screwed. I could have written a simple three-word summary, "He has dementia." But of course they laid out may more practical reasons, such as GOP control of the Senate, the fact that Beijing Biden didn't win by the sweeping mandate they promised, etc. Luckily, all the headaches President Trump would face are nothing different from what he's been enduring for four years. And this time he'll have enough DC experience to avoid the growing pains of his first year or two of adjusting from private sector to government. But America's inevitable downfall goes beyond this election.
The Radical Left has overrun education, the media, and entertainment. Crushing American culture is huge, but not the end. Look at the Democratic Party and how far they've radicalized over the last two decades. Five years ago I pointed out that by 2015 standards Bill Clinton would have been branded as a Tea Party radical by Leftists. Since then, they've gone even more off the deep end - getting rid of the police while demanding that citizens disarm, the completely insane Green New Deal, supporting the destruction of predominately black neighborhoods, killing our energy industry, etc. Jim Geraghty offered some constructive criticism yesterday that will come off as hate speech to most Leftists. The flow of history tells us that at some point Democrats will come back into power, as in having the Presidency and both houses of Congress.
Look at what they did the last time they had this power in the first two years of Obama's presidency - Obamacare, Dodd Frank, etc. A decade later Democrats don't even try to hide how much they despise half of this country. And when it comes to pushing their radical agendas, they are smart and disciplined. Us Normals like to crow about the electoral bloodbath that Dems faced in 2010, but so what? They got Obamacare, and the feckless GOP has shown they have no stomach to repeal. The next time they come into power you can look no further than recently turned states like Virginia to see the destruction they're ready to unleash on America. "So Bob," you may be asking, "Are you saying we just give up?"
Oh HELL NO!
America is the greatest country to ever exist on this Earth. Have we been perfect? No. But no country has done more to spread freedom and prosperity in its relatively short existence than the USA.

I pray for the permanent humbling of the “Never Trumper” Republicans, conservatives, and Christians. Who have rejected God’s appointed man and the command of Romans 13.
I pray against the spirit of Pharisee-ism and Sadducee-ism. Against the self-righteousness that has blinded and prevented many of our own from supporting our righteous albeit imperfect leader. (Even as they enjoy the benefits of his leadership most!)
I rebuke the silence of the GOP establishment. And the apathy of people who should be Trump’s allies— yet who abandon him in his hour of need. Also our foreign allies who have not stepped up to the plate on global matters due to their envy and resentments.
I pray in his second term, President Trump will finish the work of leading the rebuilding and renewing this country. I praise God for all the new constituents he’s brought into the conservative fold: minorities, young people, awakened progressives, independents. And that from among them, a new generation and crop of leadership will arise.
I pray for the continued exposure of corruption in every area of our culture, the destruction of the wicked and their schemes not just here but around the world. And for the vindication of the righteous. Including the President and his family.
May President Trump’s cup overflow in the presence of his enemies. May he be rewarded for his sacrifices and efforts this side of eternity. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Just think if the senate republicans had the fire in their belly like Trump...Oh what we could accomplish........

However, I think that, no matter who wins, they are going to preside over the greatest economic collapse in US history. The lockdown chickens will come home to roost in 2021. The economy has been destroyed and governments are not getting their tax revenue - their income. I believe that in 2021 we are going to pine for the salad days of 2020.
And, truth be told, this is an international problem. It’s not just the US.
I agree hugely with the sentiment of this headline.
It is how i felt after 00bama was elected.
Of course a McCain win would have only made it seem like we were okay .... for a short while.
It is one heck of a time to be living in the USA.
At least until we deny the left the opportunity to educate our children at the K -12+ level. Those children are tomorrow's voters.
And that includes such things as suspending 3rd graders for wearing a "Jesus Loves Me" face mask.
Wouldn't be surprised to next hear of a 3rd grader suspended for wearing a sweatshirt displaying an American flag.
This is simply not a problem for the Dems. If you kill all the black babies in the womb (as Dems want to do) soon there are no more black neighborhoods. No problem!
And the collapse will have been engineered by globalists who want “the great reset.” You can read about it in the current issue of Time Magazine...
Time to find a way to split this country up. It CANNOT survive as a 50-state entity.
As long as this country continues to allow the murder of the unborn child and homosexual marriage we are on borrowed time.
It will be 4 years of chaos and Executive “Emergency” orders.
Institutions like Constitutional Amendments and election procedures will be altered or set aside.
They only have 4 years.
Because Trump will be eligible to run in 2024.
But...they may try to arrest him.
There is kinetic civil action in the offing.

There is no one in the GOP who will stand up to them. The takeover of the country will be finalized.

While I await anxiously the resolution of this election, I am hopeful we will have won more than we could have hoped by exposing and fixing the deep seated long standing vote fraud.
They may have bit off more than they can chew.
That nonsense may work in places like China and Europe, but good luck in the US without a lot of Blue Helmets dying.

I would be satisfied if they had the guts of the DemocRats.
The vote fraud won't be exposed, it will get worse until we have a voter ID that secures the eligibility of the voter and can't be utilized by frauds as a proxy mail in like we currently have. No more busing hundreds of inner city voters to the polls, now we just pick up the box of ballots at the apartment buildings and vote them all.
