The words in my head are “Breach of Contract” and “Fraud”
Treehouse had an agreement with Wordpress. Wordpress provided communication resources to Treehouse, and was, at least, able to gather usage data on Treehouse. That is an agreement to exchange things of value, on agreed terms. That’s a contract. If Wordpress cuts Treehouse off, on the pretext that Treehouse breached the agreement, when Treehouse didn’t breach the agreement, that’s breach of contract, and fraud. Someone with legal training could do better than I, as to whether anything can be done with this.

If Biden takes office, I believe we are going to see more and more of these actions being taken against conservative websites with nobody left to fight for them........

Seven years ago a former friend posted on Facebook that she wished all Republicans eliminated. That was when Obama was President! I “unfriended†her. She hasn’t tried to contact me (even though we were friends outside of Facebook.) I’m sure she meant it. I can only imagine what she’s saying now.
They won’t host your website anymore. Demonetizing is when youtube doesn’t allow you to make money off of subscribers to your channel. (I think)
Contract? Wordpress says it is justifiable as the Treehouse violated their TOS.
First Amendment needs to be “extended” to include online platforms. Especially hosting services which are nothing but a utility. See if the local electric utility can cut off a customer because of his views.

You should be appalled *anyone* is deplatformed regardless of what they say. If you approve of deplatforming because of wrongthink, perhaps you’re next.

Yes I just saw NewsMaxTV is ‘live’ but notifications are not being send out to subscribers. Their last live cast was Michelle Malkin 18 hours ago.
Strange.
NewsMax itself is a different story. (NewsMax vs. NewsMaxTV)
My subscription said there was no content on NewsMax. I checked because usually I receive several notifications each day when new content is up. And I noticed there were no notifications in the past 24 hours so I checked and saw their content had been wiped. But NewsMaxTV is also not updating although they are marked live even though there is no live content at this time.
Jane, it’s good to support conservative causes but there is something a bit strange about the Treehouse. Early on it was a small operation run by a local guy with good info from local LEOs. It seemed to focus a lot on local crime and a lot of black/white issues. Practically overnight the quality and focus of the writing changed dramatically.
If you weren’t on the site for a while you would not have noticed how a single guy who had been a manager of a produce department of a grocery store all of a sudden had insight into the workings and news of the executive branch of our government. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve enjoyed reading some things over there but I wonder who is really running the operation there and why.
Any conservative on ALL hosting providers will eventually receive the same fate.
