If you have comorbidities or have the actual flu it can get serious. Just COVID itself is less deadly than the ordinary flu.

That's just not true that is less deadly than the ordinary flu - it is more deadly.

It can get serious if you have comorbidities. It can also get serious if you have none...the exact same strain can cause very different severity symptoms in different people. A friend of mine got it and became deathly ill and bedridden for two weeks...it was a very scary situation. His wife had it at the same time - had 3 days of cold symptoms - like a heavy cold, but nothing making her feel deathly ill, but she completely lost her sense of taste and smell for almost a month, whereas he kept his sense of taste and smell but became seriously ill as before mentioned.

This is a bizarre disease.

I tested postiive, have it, and it is the mildest head-cold flu I have ever contracted. It is not more deadly than the ordinary flu - the CDC has confirmed that if you ONLY have COVID the morbidity rate is much lower than the flu - it’s not 250K but around 7-8K deaths.
