This could have all been stated privately, face to face with his father. But no, this guy wants ‘credit’ from those on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for condemning anything associated with Trump. So earning a ‘like’ from people he will never meet means more to him than being respectful to his father.
There are actually precedents for this.
The Soviet Young Pioneers were encouraged to inform on their parents.
The Hitler Youth members were encouraged to inform on their parents.
The Red Guard members were encouraged to inform on their parents.
