The news broke today that Twitter has permanently banned President Trump.
The liberal brigades have predictably emerged to justify Twitter's move. But of all the arguments used to support the banning, this from "NBC News presidential historian" Michael Beschloss could be the most recklessly contemptible.
MICHAEL BESCHLOSS: The problem, Twitter is instant. So, if he wants to have a sudden impact on people, or to move the stock market. Maybe he’s got friends who are investing in certain stocks that will benefit. Maybe they'll give him a kickback! I don't know if any of that is true.

And this is how leftists work. They levy “accusation after accusation” against their enemies and force the person to have to defend an untrue accusation. This is information warfare, folks, in its most simple form.

Used to like Beschloss until he called Obama the smartest president ever on Imus’ show. Don asked him, “okay, what’s his IQ?” .. The guy stumbled for what seemed like an eternity. These people live in a false reality

I don’t know if it is true but there may be a rumor the Michael Beshloss was recently seen in a very compromising position with an undisclosed farm animal in a midwestern sate forest. Hey, it could be true!

This guy was a regular guest of radio legend Don Imus over the years, and Imus exposed him as a fraud without even trying. It occurred during a radio interview some months into Obama’s first term back in 2009, as I remember it. I’ll paraphrase the exchange here:
BESCHLOSS: “I believe Barack Obama has the highest IQ of any president in U.S. history.”
IMUS: “Really? What’s his IQ?”
The uncomfortable dead silence at the other end of the phone line captured the idiocy of that statement perfectly. No serious PRESIDENTIAL HISTORIAN would ever make an outlandish statement like that without having even the most basic piece of information he’d need to support it.
