Three major corporations are reportedly halting donations to Republican lawmakers who argued for election integrity and adherence to the Constitution.
Popular Information reports that the corporations are citing last week’s riot at the Capitol, and alleging Republican lawmakers “encouraged the rioters by objecting to the certification of the Electoral College vote.”
The outlet contacted corporations who donated to Republicans in the past and asked if they would continue to do so.
Out of 144 companies contacted, Popular Information received a commitment from three to no longer donate to anybody who objected to the election results.
The three corporations are:
Blue Cross Blue Shield Association. Marriott International. Commerce Bancshares. No word on whether or not the same outlet contacted corporations who donated to Democrats who, over the summer, helped bail out arsonists and looters.

Let’s be honest here. This is just a PR ploy, as these “major corporations” are gutless and afraid of their own shadows. If they had brains, they would realize that the ONLY outcome of this boycott is to make the offending Republicans very rich, and their campaign coffers very full. I, for one, plan to send checks on a regular basis to these guys, as will, hopefully, all of you.
It’s fair to ask if they halted donations to dems who claimed Trump colluded with the Russians.

I hope someone is maintaining a comprehensive list.

Marriott has been a virtue-signaling organ for decdes, IIRC, long before this feel-good cancel culture came along. They just did it in bits and pieces in the shadows, so not as to attract attention. Don’t wanna piss off BC/BS just yet. That’s who covers us under my wife’s plan, and I haven’t signed up for Medicare yet.

FYI, Marriott International is (or was) owned by Mitten’s kin.

My Bank joined that group yesterday freezing donations to my congressman, Lee Zeldin.
I walked into the bank today, took out all my money and told them to close my bank account and credit card.
I was a customer there for 40 years.

I think Marriott is Mormon or has Mormon connections.

Marriot was founded by Willard Marriott, a close friend of NitWit Mitt’s father, George Romney.
As the story goes, Mitt Romney was named after Willard Marriot, so Romney’s real name is Willard Romney.
How fitting. Mitt was named after a RAT.

Well, I could boycott Marriott, I guess. I don't have dealings with the other two. Regardless, this cancel culture crap has gotten out of hand and needs to be dealt with. I'm sure there is enough money in it for some lawyers to start dropping lawsuits. Wanting election integrity is a bad thing? This country has really declined into a banana republic.

It should come as no surprise the U.S. Chamber of Commerce (CoC) would join hands with leftist democrats & begin withholding financial support for congressional representatives who supported President Trump. You might remember in August of 2020 when the CoC admitted to supporting far-left democrats in the 2020 election cycle.
WASHINGTON DC – The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the powerful pro-business [multinational] lobbying group, said Tuesday it will halt political contributions to certain lawmakers following the deadly riot at the U.S. Capitol last week.
“There are some members that by their actions will have forfeited the support of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Period, full stop,” Neil Bradley, chief policy officer at the Chamber, said in a press conference.
[…] “It’s also a mistake not to recognize the elected officials who really stood up in very trying and difficult circumstances and we’re going to continue to operate a program that supports them and helps them in our efforts to lead our country,” he said. (read more)

How does this effect my ( and your) decision to send money to the Senators who are being blackballed by these corporations?
To: rustyweiss74
Wow that’s gonna hurt what did they donate to republicans .000001% of what they donate to the socialists, if that much? You have to wonder at the intelligence of those owning/leading these corporations to support the very socialists that want to destroythem and take all their profits.
