In the 1970’s I became aware of Ballance’s “Feminine Forum” talk show where he talked sex with women. It was above me, sex was visual to me with shameful actions coming out of my visual encounters.

Ballance saw it that way himself taking Playboy style pictures of his Jewish girlfriend who later emerged as a radio host in her own right Dr. Laura Schlessinger. Ballance did not like her conservative style so he unleashed the dirty pictures on the internet.

What was Dr. Martin Luther King? Whatever you think he was and there are differences of opinion he was a man who challenged the mainstream politicians of his time of both political parties in general and the Democrat Party in particular to take decisive action against racism in the USA.

He used non-violent force to get the Mitt Romney’s of his time to change course from inaction to action. MLK scared JFK who saw him as an enemy. His widow Jackie Kennedy chronicled her husband’s enemies after the assassination in early 1964 referring to Dr. King as a:

MENTAL HEALTH AND THE “CAPITOL INCIDENT”

Been a lot of talk about mental health since we went into varying degrees of imprisonment around the world 10 months ago. Its been a concern of big government and big business. My supervisors in both where I work aren’t asking me “How are you doing?” for entertainment purposes.

Besides provocateurs and FBI informants at the Capitol on January 6th there were also mentally ill (”crazy”) people.

50 years ago folks like that would not have been able to roam the US Capitol, they roamed mental hospitals-facilities nationwide.

But around 1980 the courts ordered the de-institutionalizing of the mentally ill and their re-integration into everyday life. Hundreds of thousands came out onto the streets.

I’ve heard some like Dr. Michael Savage rant about this happening saying we should sent people back but I don’t wish that on anyone.

Back around 1980 I got a tour of a mental facility from a man who worked there as a security guard. What a tour filled with squalor and filth. They had a farming aspect to the facility, the cows up to their knees in their own excrement. Zombies roaming the grounds. The guy said to me that the girls were all “on birth control” the sex that widespread. Some of it perhaps voluntary but in other cases in was no doubt involuntary lives wounded and hurt by sexual mistreatment.

DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING’S RESPONSE TO A PROTEST THAT ENDED IN VIOLENCE

On March 28th, 1968 Dr. King arrived at a demonstration to march in support of striking sanitation workers in Memphis, Tennessee. Violent actors showed up. The deadly riot led to a decision by a federal judge to ban protests in the city.

“King arrived late to find a massive crowd on the brink of chaos, causing Lawson and King to call off the demonstration as violence erupted. Lawson told the demonstration participants to return to Clayborn Temple. The police followed the crowd back to the church where they released tear gas and clubbed people. In the midst of the chaos, police shot and killed sixteen-year-old Larry Payne. Witnesses said Payne had his hands raised as the officer pressed a shotgun to Payne’s stomach and fired it.”-WIKIPEDIA

In the face of a federal court injunction Dr. King planned to lead another protest march in the city. He spoke on April 3, 1968 the last speech before his death.

“All we say to America is be true to what you said on paper. If I lived in China or even Russia or any totalitarian country maybe I could understand some of these illegal injunctions. Maybe I could understand the denial of certain basic First Amendment privileges because they have committed themselves to that over there.

But somewhere I read of the freedom of assembly, somewhere I read of the freedom of speech, somewhere I read of the freedom of press somewhere I read that the greatness of America is the right to protest for rights.

And so just as I say we aren’t going to let any dogs or water hoses turn us around we aren’t going to let any injunctions turn us around...”

Why did the Political Establishment give us a Martin Luther King Jr. national holiday? Perhaps so they could rewrite the story of a man who would break the law to get the Political Establishment to change its mind citing his rights under the Constitution of the United States..
