Rep. Maxine Waters has paid more than $1 million in campaign cash to her daughter according to reports from the Federal Election Commission (FEC).
Karen Waters has reportedly received over $1.1 million from her mother’s campaign, with $250,000 coming in the most recent election cycle alone.
The younger Waters was paid for slate-mailing services, a rarely used operation in which a consulting firm creates flyers or brochures containing a list of candidates and policy platforms, and ‘advises’ voters how to cast their ballot.
The effort is so rare that Waters (D-CA) is the only politician on the federal level to use it.

Nothing to see here. Laws exist so that powerful people can reward their friends and punish their enemies. The courts have determined that you have no standing to complain about it.
