PAUL: “Do you think it’s fair to have boys running in the girls’ track meet?”
CARDONA: “I think it’s appropriate for — I think it’s the legal responsibility of schools to provide opportunities for students to participate in activities, and this includes students who are transgender.”
PAUL: “So you don’t have a problem then with boys running in girls’ track meets, swimming meets? You’re okay then with boys competing with girls?”
CARDONA: “Respectfully, Senator, I think I answered the question. I believe schools should offer the opportunity for students to engage in extracurricular activities, even if they’re transgender. I think that’s their right.”
PAUL: “All right. Well, a lot of us think that’s bizarre. Not very fair. I come from a family that has a lot of girls who have been — have competed in college athletics, been state champions. And frankly, you know, some boy that’s 6’2” competing against my 5’4” niece doesn’t sound very fair. I think most people in the country think it’s bizarre. You know, it’s just completely bizarre and unfair that people — and you’re going to run the Department of Education, you’ve got no problem with it? That concerns me. And I think it’s this kind of thing is going to lead to really just the vast majority of America just wondering who are these people that think it’s okay, from what planet are you from? I mean, to think it’s okay that boys would compete with girls in a track meet and that somehow would be fair. I wonder where our feminists are on this? I wonder where the people who supported women’s sports are on this? Are we going to be okay with hulking 6’4” guys wrestling against girls? It just makes no sense whatsoever. And so I think the fact that you seem to be afraid to answer the question or you basically do answer the question by saying it’s okay without saying it’s okay, really is a statement to a real problem we have and a disconnect between what middle America and what most Americans actually believe. I even believe most Democrats don’t believe girls should run in a boys’ track meet — boys should run in a girls’ track meet. So I’m disappointed in the answer and I just I can’t imagine that we’re going to have a policy like that nationally.”
Why?! The girls work to get their own sports and the guys want to join? Nothing is fun anymore.

The girls didnt “work” for anything. They got a court to demand thy have sports at e expense of the boys.
Its a totally separate issue. And its not just one sided. The only reason this is an issue is because women dont like it. They dont care guys dont like girls on their teams, taking spots from boys to make a statement. No one cares if boys forfeit rounds because they wont go up against what they know is a girl and it messes up their records.
If you have female equipment you play on female teams. If you have male equipment you play on male teams. Or your dont play.
Soon these he/shes will be taking the college sports scholarships away from the females. Soon all college sports will be played by males.
Just one of those pesky unintended consequences.
They should jsut start a transgender team.
Let the boys compete with boys, the girls compete with girls, and the trannies compete with trannies.

Defund federal education programs and departments. These decisions belong at the local level where chidren are produced; not the educrat places where they are seduced.

For years women fought for equality. “Co-education!!” was the cry. Funding for Women’s athletics was the monument of the movement’s achievement!!
The result was a triumph (we were told).
But the problem was the driving evil that infects every liberal cause.
That is the evil of the grievance. The grievance cares little for a cause or the results. It cares only about its own perpetual existence and the power it bestows upon those who become possessed by it.
Ultimately, it consumes everything, especially that which it created.
The grievance is now going to eat Title IX. It is going to eat the very thing it was born to ensure. Women’s athletics are now fuel for the fire!!!
And there you are, full circle.
On campuses across America interaction between men and women is being made so impossible that there is talk of separate schools for men and women. Safe spaces of today are the repression and inequality of yesterday.
Blacks are talking about their own dorms and classrooms. The grievance is what is important. The outrage is the fuel for the fire. And it is the fire that must always burn!!!

Somewhere in the liberal enclaves of Atlanta and the surrounding suburbs, like every other city, there are moms and dads who have daughters that are competitive athletes. Some of whom might be able to play at the next level and maybe save their folks some tuition money.
But they voted for this sh*t show. And now, they just might get to see there daughters dreams get squashed.
These are the people who pat each other on the back because they’re so woke, while never having to live with the consequences of their hypocrisy and arrogance.
They’re the same ones that have no problem voting for candidates that will strip all of us of our rights even though we’d probably never cross paths with them, because they’re smarter then everyone.

For over 20 years we were told thst girls were just as good as boys and they infultrated boys sports. Hell Vanderbuilt football has a girl kicker to (in a lame ass woke attempt, to try to prove this, and fails miserably!)
Now that the tables are turned, the girls start bitchin’. Get the hell out of boys sports and we’ll stand up for you. Otherwise you are just hypocraps!

Another area where this is gonna get ugly is affirmative action/reparations where Hispanics (the largest growing demographic) are lower on the affirmative action/reparations pecking order than blacks.
There is _no_ way Hispanics are gonna put up with it for long—zero chance.
One other (kinda hush hush) are where leftist ideologies contradict each other is environmentalists vs expanding “fair housing”. Here in New England most suburban/exurban/rural areas are lily white and have stayed that way with fanatical zoning requirements to “save the environment”.
These are wedge issues that can destroy the left—if properly handled by _smart_ anti-left politicians.
They go way over the heads of most Republican politicians.
