Rush started his conservative radio show in Sacramento in 1984. That’s when I started listening to him.
I used to call and get through quite often when he was local.
Rush’s show went National in 1988. Never could get through the busy signal after that.

I received the same message, virtually word for word about a month ago, and it had no attribution to Rush.

Before Rush, I’d been listening to Mark Scott on AM 1270 in Detroit. “Excelsior!”

Rush connected immediately with my thinking, my patriotism, my distrust of D’rats and my sense of humor.

My first post was based on a gut feeling. I didn’t find the fact check until I looked for it after being challenged.

First off, I feel the same as you do. I feel anger, fear, sadness, depression and yes, hate ... because of this election. I feel betrayed and violated by this sham of an election. I believe, like in the cartoon of South Park where of shenanigan's are declared, an automatic investigation follows. This election should have been investigated form the front to rear bumpers nd from the tires to the roof and doubly so from the problems States. If it turns out Biden did win without fraud (I believe there is fraud but for sake of argument) then I can be more "accepting on one level that Biden did win although

GEtting back to Rush, I say megadittoes and megaprayers. We can't say or know how long he has, I'm not sure even he or his doctors know. Cancer has become more manageable in recent years plus there are people who have a strong will to live. Pope John Paul II had a strong will to live, with all the issues he had, I think he lived an extra 10 years. I talked to a guy at an old car show who has a 1967 Buick Wildcat, it is his baby. He had cancer for like 15 years or more, it seems him working on his car keeps him going. Hopefully Rush will be one of those. We do need him and he is the defacto leader. I'm from Pittsburgh and remember him as Jeff Christie when I was very little. God forbid if and when we lose Rush, who will be the defacto leader, I guess it would be Beck or Hannity, leaning towards the former. All I can say to Rush is, we need ya, man.

Speaking of radio, I am listening to Cousin Brucie Morrow from WABC on the old TecSun PL-660 on 770 WABC out of New York. I can see why these retro shows are popular because they are a visit to the world we knew and love because things suck so much now.

I make it a point to turn on Rush’s program every day because not only do I get a cogent take on the latest events, I am also aware that we won’t have Rush around as long as we would all love to have him. I am dreading hearing the day’s stand-in host making the announcement I don’t want to hear.
